Francois holds a PhD in Nuclear Medicine and Radiobiology from the Université de Sherbrooke (2006) and an MBA from HEC Montréal (2010). He began his career as a researcher at the Commissariat à l’Énergie Atomique (CEA) in Grenoble, France, where he measured the impact of a new industrial laser technology on the treatment of certain types of cancer. After his MBA, he immersed himself in entrepreneurship and co-founded Tactus Scientific INC, a startup developing micro and nano-manipulation technologies for scientific and medical applications, and received numerous awards such as the Concours Québécois en entrepreneuriat, the Fondation du Montréal Inc prize and the emerging entrepreneurs prize at C2-MTL. Francois joined Innovitech in 2014 and then became Director of Partnerships at MEDTEQ, where he is responsible for growing the consortium’s impact for its members through strategic agreements and the implementation of key programs for the medtech community.
