Director of the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme, Director of Research at the CNRS. He was successively: Head of Department at the Centre d’Etude et de Recherche sur les Qualifications (CEREQ), Director of the Laboratoire d’Economie et de Sociologie du Travail (LEST/CNRS); Director of the Programme Interdisciplinaire de Recherche sur les Technologies, le Travail et les Modes de vie (PIRTTEM/CNRS); Director of the Scientific Department of Human Sciences and the CNRS Society.

 

In 2007 I was asked by ACTINEO (the Office Quality of Life Observatory) created by members of the French Furniture Industry to support them in their efforts to better understand the impact of office morphology and layout on productive efficiency and well-being at work. It is from this pioneering questioning that all the work carried out within the framework of ACTINEO has been developed.
